Triumph Lodge #16

Our lodge is dedicated to honoring our service men and woman. We are proud to not only be the sponsoring group but to have some members who are the location coordinators for Wreaths Across America at Harford Memorial Gardens. We also support local troops while at APG and other military organizations.

We participate in town events such as 4th of July Parade, Trick R Treat Main Street, Christmas Parade and Festival of the Arts.

We support foster care programs in the county and work with children who are aging out of the foster care programs. We help with continuing education for those wanting to start careers in the health care field.

Triumph Lodge members strive to fellowship both in and out of the lodge. We encourage members to invite family and friends to our gatherings and often invite local community heads to attend.

We Co-op with other organizations in Harford and Baltimore County not only to give them support but to strengthen our outreach in the community also.

Triumph Lodge holds community training events including Narcan certification, stop the bleed certification, self defense class, Basic life support Certification, CPR certification and more.

We are always looking for new members and welcome those interested to stop by and fellowship with us 1 hour prior to our regular meetings or schedule a time to come and meet the members of Triumph Lodge.

North Point Lodge #4

North Point #4 is located in Fort Howard, Maryland. Our lodge was established on September 13, 1913. We have had the highest enrollment for new members in the state of Maryland for almost a decade. We are a lodge that has members from age 19 to age 94. We believe that we are a very well-rounded lodge with a group of individuals that are true to the traditions and values of the Oddfellows but also can.contribute new ideas and modern thinking. We are very focused on serving our community and provide as much assistance to local residents and surrounding neighborhoods as possible. We can accomplish this through both traditional and non-traditional fundraisers and our dedicated members of the Lodge.

As a lodge we implement a variety of fundraisers to generate money to give back to the community. We often run 10 week raffles and raffles for prizes. We have an annual shrimp feast, an annual car show, an annual Mother's Day flower sale, an annual chili cookoff and an annual crab feast that we call Crab-tober Fest. While our fundraisers include traditional activities such as raffles, silent auctions, wheels and 50/50 ticket sales we also try to include new, creative ideas to enhance the patrons' experience with things like live music, selfie backdrops, fun props, fun prizes and drink sales. We have also implemented some new, innovative fundraisers including masquerade balls with various themes, a paint and sip fundraiser and our dad bod car wash.

We work with a variety of community groups as well. This includes local Cub Scout Troop 145, Soup for the Soul, Fort Howard Haunted Dungeons and The Sky is the Limit inclusive creative arts program.

We have annual charity programs that we are proud to say have been implemented for years. We have a Memorial Day Dedication Ceremony at the WW2 Monument at Fort Howard Veterans Park with a wreath presentation and a community cookout following the ceremony. We also show our gratitude to our veterans with our Veterans Day Breakfast when we invite our veterans to come and enjoy a free breakfast and have guests join them for a very small fee. We are proud to say that we have an annual scholarship awarded to a student at our local school, Sparrows Point High School. Annually we donate money to a local youth fishing expo, a way to engage children in the community to explore activities that are local to the area. Our largest program has been our Odd Saint Nick program, started in 2015, which provides local children in need with Christmas gifts.

We also assist the community through donations to local recreation and parks sports teams, donations to local schools for unbudgeted activities or supplies, assistance to individuals of the community that need assistance with cost of illness, death or household tragedy and use of the lodge for memorial services/wakes/celebration of life for community members with special circumstances and lodge members. We are a close group that work well together to give back to the community. Each person contributes their creativity and ideas to implement activities and fundraisers that are outside of the box, profitable and memorable. Each year we have a lodge picnic for members and their family and a lodge dinner for all members and a guest.

Members of the lodge often spend time socially together outside of the lodge, reinforcing our comradery. We are also planning a group 7 day cruise for any members that would like to participate. This is our lodge. A group of dedicated individuals, unique all their own with creative minds and big hearts. A group of people that values friendship, love and truth and truly enjoy charity work that they do!

Baltimore City Lodge has proudly stood as a cornerstone of fellowship, service, and tradition since 1848. While we honor and celebrate our rich history, we also embrace modern ideas and new ways of connecting with our members and community. Above all else, we are a lodge that believes in having fun, enjoying each other’s company, and making every meeting a place where members feel welcome, valued, and part of something special.

Our members take great pride in the work we do together. Each year, we host our annual crab feast, one of our favorite

traditions, with proceeds benefiting a charity selected and voted on by our membership. Supporting education is also a major part

of our mission. Through our scholarship program, we have awarded more than 20 scholarships annually in recent years, and we proudly host a scholarship dinner each year to recognize and celebrate the students and their achievements.

Service to our community continues to grow through our newest project, a food pantry dedicated to helping provide food to those in need within our local area. Whether through charitable giving, volunteer work, or supporting one another, Baltimore City Lodge is committed to making a positive difference.

We are also proud of the spirit and enthusiasm our members bring to everything we do. In 2019, we had the honor of hosting the Order’s 200th Anniversary Celebration, themed around the early 1800s, where many members joined in the fun by dressing in period attire and helping create a truly memorable event.

Towson Lodge #79

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows' Towson Lodge No. 79 was named in honor of General Nathan Towson, a distinguished Maryland native whose character, courage, and unwavering dedication to duty during the War of 1812 earned the deep admiration of the Lodge's founders. General Towson exemplified the principles of honor, integrity, and service that remain central to Odd Fellowship today.

As a testament to his appreciation for the respect shown by the members of Towson Lodge, General Towson donated a portrait of himself to the Lodge just one year before his passing at his home in Washington, D.C. Today, that distinguished portrait remains prominently displayed within Towson Lodge No. 79, serving as a lasting reminder of the values of leadership, patriotism, service, and dedication to liberty that inspired the Lodge's founding.

For more than 170 years, Towson Lodge No. 79 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows has faithfully carried forward these same ideals through fellowship, charity, and community service. Our members are united by a shared commitment to strengthening our communities and improving the lives of others through the enduring principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth. As a fraternal brotherhood and sisterhood, we support one another while dedicating our time, talents, and resources to causes that make a meaningful difference. Through acts of kindness, benevolence, and compassion, we strive to uplift those in need and promote the moral and social well-being of all humankind.

Towson Lodge members actively support local charitable organizations, host community events in our Lodge hall, and participate in service projects throughout the city, county, and state. We also proudly support and participate in the charitable, educational, and fraternal programs of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows through the Grand Lodge of Maryland and the Sovereign Grand Lodge at both the local and national levels.
