Grand Lodge of Maryland Foundation

What is the Grand Lodge of Maryland Foundation?

The Grand Lodge of Maryland Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization created in 2009 to assist the Grand Lodge of Maryland in it's educational and other charitable efforts. 

In addition to our Scholarship fund, the Foundation supports The Arthritis Foundation, The Wilmer Eye Institute, Living Legacy Program, and many others. It supports the projects chosen each year by the Heads of our Order, the Grand Master, Rebekah President, and Grand Patriarch, in the State of Maryland.

Who runs the Foundation?

The Foundation Board is made up of Directors, elected at the Annual Session of the Grand Lodge of Maryland. The Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, and Grand Warden are members of the Board by virtue of their office. The Grand Secretary and Grand Treasurer of the Grand Lodge serve as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Foundation. Four additional Directors are elected to serve on the Board. At the first meeting of the Foundation Board, a President and Vice President are elected.
